Sol Horizon has been Sonoma County, California’s premier reggae band for the past 25 years and voted “Best Band” in the North Bay Bohemian’s “Best of the North Bay” Reader’s Picks in 2022 and 2023, as well as “Best Reggae Band” in the North Bay 9 times, including the last 5 years in a row and 8 of the previous 9 years. Anchored by veteran musicians, Sol Horizon fuses roots reggae with dub, rock, funk, and world music. The band is renowned for its energetic live performances and powerful lyrical content centering on themes of peace, positivity, community, sustainability, and the revitalizing power of nature. The band members are deeply rooted in and nurtured by their dynamic local community, with strong ties to Sonoma County’s arts and culture and its delicate natural splendor.

Sol Horizon is also Northern California’s premier Bob Marley tribute band. Featuring a dynamic 12-piece band, they pay tribute to the global voice of reggae music, celebrating the life and legacy of Bob Marley by performing some of Bob Marley’s greatest music.
